Countin the days
02:43
|
|||
The prisoner is counting the days until he's free
until he can walk outside and is allowed to see the sun
The young man is counting the days until he's of age
until he can buy some beer in the store and is allowed to get drunk
Don't we all count the days?
We count until we're no longer able to count
but in the moment we're finished
we start anew
The young girl is counting the days until she's by his side again
until she's allowed to see him and can feel his warmth
The worker is counting the days until he gets some freedays
until he's allowed to rest his hands and spend some days with his children
Don't we all count the days?
We count until we're no longer able to count
but in the moment we're finished
we start anew
We all have these things that
keep us going, that we live for
We all have things that make us happy
that nobody can take from us
Don't we all count the days?
We count until we're no longer able to count
but in the moment we're finished
we start anew

Please wake me up

I walked past a wall and wondered about
all the things surrounding me
everthing was so grey and destroyed
It seemed as if something had lost balance.
I wanted to set things straight, but I couldn’t
Then I realized, that I was stuck in a nightmare
You always told me that I was already awakebut I didn’t want to believe you
That’s why I rammed my head against the walls
It almost looked like the blood trail was laughing at me maliciously.
I began to run wanted to get away from everything
didn’t want to see it anymore but every corner looked the same
The movie was played over and over again
and I was in the middle of it I tried so hard to wake up, but I couldn’t
That was when I realized that I was stuck in a nightmare
Everytime when I had found the door to get outside that would save me
it led me into the same room that I had just left
The feeling, that I ran deeper and depper into the maze
and further away from the exit came over me. I tried so hard to wake up, but I couldn’t
One day I could finally open my eyes and
I went outside and wondered about the blood on the wall

Little Dreamer

There was a little boy, he was smaller than the rest of his class
Sometimes he was very sad and alone
But there was a world in which he was larger and stronger
He even went to bad earlier so he could drift away for longer time
He flew across fields an mountains, free as a bird
he could feel the cold wind in each feather of his wings
as long as he no longer had strength he woke up in his bed
Let’s come together, let us sing my friends
Let’s tell the story that believing never ends
When nothing’s left, our dreams will stay
When everything seems los, there’ll always be a way
One day he found an old plan of model aircraft from his
grandfather on the attic. He protected that plan like an treasure
cause one day he wanted to built this little plane
In his dreams he no longer had feathers
but he sat in an aircraft wearing pilot glasses
as long as the tank was emptied and he woke up in his bed

Too little Time

Life is like a rucksack you fill over the year
but in the end you leave it behind
Life is like a rucksack you fill over the year
but in the end you can't take nothing with you
So why don't you start collecting stories
that even your children will tell each other?
You can't take nothing with you on your last trip
Your car is left behind in the garage and your money is worthless
You should rather start enjyoing the moments of happiness
So why don't you start collecting stories
that even your children will tell each other
You can't take nothing with you on your last trip
There is so little time left until you have
to leave your suitcase behind
But your thoughts and your dreams
you can take them with you on your last trip

Again and Again
02:40
|
|||
Beneath us the burdens of the past dropped and discarded
Covered with gras and stones as time went by
One false step and the past erases the future
One false step and there is no tomorrow
How many more, tell me how many more have to go
It's too late to make a difference but why don't we learn from it
Why do we let things come so far over and over again?
One false step and the past erases the future
One false step and there is no tomorrow
How many more, tell me how many more have to go
Why does nobody realize that the future is so much more
similar to the past, than we expect
One false step and the past erases the future
One false step and there is no tomorrow
How many more, tell me how many more have to goaway

Take my Hand

Have you ever heard the story of the path you can't walk alone
The story of the path on which you should never
lose sight of your ambition, on and on
It's you and me who are gonna make it
it's you and me, we will walk this path until the end
Have you ever heard the story of the path you can't walk alone?
but together we're strong enough to make it, on and on
it's you and me who are gonna make it
it's you and me, we will walk this path until the end
If you'd ever lose orientation, take my hand, i'll show you the way.
If you'd ever lose orientation, take my hand, i'll lead you back to our path
and if you're ever gonna feel sad, remember
and if you're ever gonna feel sad, remember my words
and if you're ever gonna feel sad, remember my words
it's you and me, we will walk this path until the end
it's you and me, we will walk this path until the end
and if you're ever gonna feel sad, remember my words
